Meili - God of Norse Mythology

Meili in Norse mythology is a member of the Æsir (gods of the principle pantheon), son of Odin, and brother to Thor. Meili is mentioned in the Poetic Edda (the poem Hárbarðsljóð) and the Prose Edda (the poem Haustlöng). However aside from the relationship with Odin and Thor, there is no additional information about the deity in any other surviving source of Norse mythology.

The meaning and etymology of the name Meili, pronounced "M-AI-l-ee" is "the loveable" or "the lovey one."

Some scholars have theorized that Meili and Baldur are the same god.
